My sources inform me cheesecake falls into the tart family and thus the pie family. Ice cream is a separate entity being neither cake nor pie. This poll is cake or pie, stay focused people
I'm with Connie, but if it's just between cake and pie, PIE wins for sure! Unless, of course, it's an ice cream cake...but now I'm just complicating things...
aren't we talking about cheesecake being cake or pie? I say it's more of a pie, but cheese pie just sounds gross. Either way it's DELICIOUS!!! but you know me....
so the question is...is cheesecake a cake or a pie? or do i prefer cake over pie (or vice versa). either way. cheesecake is in it's own category...kinda like brownies. but if I HAD to choose I'd say cheesecake is pie, because of how it gets sliced. I would definitely choose any cake over cheesecake. bleh on cheesecake.
Cake hands down. Way safer. Until Minced Meat pie is abolished. Emily and I just laughed our asses off reading about the heartburnbegone and genital herpes rant. It was most funny because emily's life really is ruined by heartburn! She talked about it earlier tonight (she is pregnant which is exacerbating the problem). So can she trade you her heart burn for your herpes?

P.S. My mini cheesecakes are the best. Is cheesecake, cake because it's the name or pie because of the consistency?
